La Mort

So tarot cards ya, I like them, have always really liked them, I use them for personal use, never really for anyone else, except that one time... anyways DEATH is probably my favorite card, numbered 13, there are many many different interpretations, the most basic one is a chapter of your life is ending as a new one begins and the possibility of reaping the seeds you planted in the last chapter shall manifest in the new chapter you are beginning, this card has a positive connotation however for obvious reasons people think it is negative, kinda like the number 13, it use to a symbol of good luck way back when, now not so much, there is another interpretation of this card best illustrated by this quote

And the women said to the serpent,
"We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden;
but God said, 'You shall not eat of the fruit of the
tree which is in the midst of the garden,
neither shall you touch it, lest you die.'"
But the serpent said to the women,
"You will not die.
For God knows that when you eat of it
your eyes will be opened,
and you will be as gods,
knowing good and evil."

(Genesis iii, 2-5)

So ya this quote contradicts itself however the point I am trying to make is that death is different for the snake and it is different for God, being alive to the snake is being dead to God and vice versa, when used for the thirteenth card DEATH, I take it to mean change sometimes isnt good for people and it can negatively effect them

Like all the cards in the tarot each card is open to interpretation and how it can apply to your life
