is a comfortable read, with the writer switching with each chapter, both created characters( written by the two writers) share the same friends thus their lives are intertwined, its a nice way for a story to be told. This book is pretty extensional for something written in the 40s, it gives a good depiction of new york around the end of world war two. There was something kinda exhausting about the book it took me about three days to finish it, i guess i didnt want to finish it right away, i wanted to extend the reading of it over a couple of days
